The "Capillary Flow Experiment 2" is part of an ongoing investigation of liquid behavior in a microgravity environment. These experiments are conducted aboard the International Space Station, but lead from the ground by researchers lead by Dr. Mark Weislogel in Maseeh College's NASA-PSU ISS Telescience Center.

In addition to many microfluidic terrestrial applications, this research is helping to solve critical fluid management issues aboard spacecraft that, at least for now, keep human exploration of deep space in the realm of science fiction.
